Depart 7:30 Approximate return 4:00 Junior College US History students will travel to Abilene, KS to the Dwight D. Eisenhower Presidential Library and Museum to participate in the on-site Five Star Leadership experience. Students will go through modules of primary source documents that describe the issues that Pres. Eisenhower dealt with as the Supreme Commander of Allied Forces in designing the plan for D-Day. Students come to the library to recreate the sequence of events associated with the D-Day scenario. As they progress through the module, students put into practice what they have learned about leadership, decision making, and history while completing their mission.
