Health Insurance – Plan Year 2018 – Open Enrollment is October 1-31, 2017
Summary of changes for plan year 2018 - pdf - The good folks at the State Employee Health Plan put this together to inform us of all the changes occurring in the 2018 plan year. Please take a look at it. The big change –->The SEHP now has five medical plan options to choose from – Plans A, C, J, N, and Q.
Enrollment for Plan Year 2018 is an ACTIVE enrollment. This means members must log in and make elections for 2018 coverage - 2017 elections will not roll over to 2018. Members that do not make an election for Plan Year 2018 will be defaulted to Plan N through their current carrier and at the same coverage level with an HRA.
Employees that have waived coverage for Plan Year 2017 and do not make elections during Open Enrollment for 2018 will continue in waived status for 2018.
Employees enrolled only in the optional Surency Vision Program do not need to make elections during Open Enrollment for 2018 to continue on vision only insurance.
Membership Administration Portal (MAP) website: https://sehp.member.hrissuite.com/ This is the website where you go to log into your individual account and actually make your elections. If you have forgotten your password, then you need to re-register your account. Contact the Central Office if you do not know your Employee ID.

You no longer have to worry about manually entering your annual preventive exams to earn HQ credits! Credits will automatically be uploaded to your account after your SEHP medical insurance vendor has processed the claim. The SEHP medical vendor will send a file directly to Cerner (the HQ vendor) showing the credits earned and you will be notified by an email from Cerner when the credits are applied to your account.
A summary of the options to earn credits is listed in the table below. For additional assistance, please refer to these tools and resources:
Credits are tracked on the wellness portal at https://kansashealthquest.cernerwellness.com. Each employee will need to open an account on the wellness portal.
