Julie Dillon

Hello!  My name is Julie Dillon.  I have been teaching since 1986.  I have my Bachelor's Degree from Augustana College in Sioux Falls, South Dakota and my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Wichita State University.  My varied teaching experiences include preschool, kindergarden, first grade, second grade, fifth grade, 7th and 8th grade language arts, and 7th-9th grade science.  I have previously taught in Dallas, Wichita, and Andover, KS.  Currently, I am teaching 7th and 8th Grade Language Arts as well as serving as a High School Assistant Track Coach.  I grew up in Fowler, Colorado loving to snow ski, water ski, play basketball, volleyball, track, act in drama, sing in the school choir, play various instruments, and spend time with family!  

Currently, I reside in Effingham with my husband, 3 very spoiled dogs and various cats. I have two children.  My daughter is a doctor in physical therapy and serves in the Army National Guard.  My son is a graduate of ACCHS and is currently playing college basketball and studying accounting and finance.
