3) Attention all high school boy basketball players - there will be a fundraising meeting hosted by Jake Hansen in room 124 today during homeroom. We will need your input, so please attend!
4) Donate Blood! There will be a Blood Drive at the Lancaster City Hall on Monday, October 4, from 3:00-7:00 p.m. 16-Year olds are eligible to donate blood but must have parental consent. Forms may be picked up in the office. Photo ID and Proof of Age Required for All Donors. To make an appointment online go to www.savealifenow.org. Use the Sponsor Code: lancastercomm. 5) Homecoming Agenda: Bonfire 7:00 on Wed., Oct. 6. The Junior/Senior High will leave the school at 2:00 on Fri., Oct. 8 to head to the Elementary School and then Main Street for the Parade and Pep Rally. Homecoming Crowning will be prior to the ball game. The Homecoming game w/Pleasant Ridge will be at 7:00. Band performance at half-time. After-Prom Supper from 5-8 at Tiger Field. The Homecoming Dance will be from 9-12 on Sat., Oct. 9.
6) Spirit Week – October 4-8 – Monday –Class Color Day, Tuesday – Fake an Injury Day, Wednesday – Famous Couples Day, Thursday – Hillbilly Day, and Friday will be Orange and Black Day. – Class Colors will be Seniors – Black, Juniors – Blue, Sophomores – Red, Freshmen – White, 8th Graders – Yellow, 7th Graders – Green and Faculty – Brown. Hall Decorations may be started Monday, October 4 with Class Sponosor approval. Each class picks its own theme that pertains to winning against Pleasant Ridge. Each class makes its own poster that is tied in with the class’s hallway theme and hangs the poster in the Commons. Decorations will be judged on Thursday, Oct 7.
7) We will now recite the Pledge of Allegiance. Please stand at attention facing the flag with your right hand over your heart. I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to The Republic for which it stands, one Nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
