Elementary Classes Offered

          All elementary students, grades K-4, have a physical education class. Music is offered twice a week one semester and three times a week the other semester. Art education is provided once a week for a 45 minute period in grades K-4 by the art teacher.

    The elementary music teacher plans two programs a year. Each elementary center performs a winter (Christmas) program at separate times. At the spring program the district's elementary students are together and perform in the high school gym.

The district librarian travels to three centers. She provides instruction in library skills and story time as requested by the teacher.
